Job Title:   SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Dorchester Salary: £12.82 - 14.72 per hour [Depending on experience] Start: Immediate Contract: Full-time / part-time Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
GSL Education are looking for a dedicated  SEMH Teaching Assistant  to join a warm and welcoming school in  Dorchester .
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in overcoming challenges and making progress in their academic and personal development.
As a  Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will work closely with students to help them build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
You will be part of a supportive team focused on promoting positive mental health and well-being for all students.
Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in groups.
Assist in creating and implementing personalised learning plans.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Help students manage their emotions and improve social skills as an  SEMH Teaching Assistant .
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students' needs are met effectively.
Requirements: Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3, are desirable but not essential.
Experience working with students who have SEMH needs is an advantage.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
