About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and supportive primary school team in Banbury.

As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working alongside our teachers to deliver high-quality education whilst also covering lessons where required.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Classroom Teaching: Provide targeted support to students across various year groups, assisting with the delivery of lessons and ensuring that all pupils can access the curriculum.
Small Group & 1:1 Intervention: Lead small group interventions or 1:1 support sessions to help pupils who need additional assistance with literacy, numeracy, or other subjects.
Classroom Management: Work closely with the class teacher to maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment, supporting the management of behaviour where necessary.
Planning & Preparation: Assist with lesson planning, preparing resources, and marking work as required to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for all students.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Help to track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and identifying areas where further support may be needed.
Supporting Individual Needs: Work with children with a variety of additional needs, including SEN, to tailor support and ensure all students are fully included in lessons.
Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a safe and secure learning environment.
Requirements:.
Previous Experience in a Primary School Setting as a teaching assistant, HLTA, or in a similar educational support capacity.
Strong Understanding of the Primary Curriculum and how to differentiate learning for a range of abilities.
Excellent Communication Skills with both children and adults, including the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
