About the Role The Assistant Ecologist role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual early in their ecology career to develop practical skills and gain exposure to a diverse range of projects.
Based in Birmingham with hybrid working options, you'll support the ecology team in fieldwork, data entry, and report drafting.
This role will involve hands-on experience, providing you with valuable insights into ecological practices within a professional consultancy setting.
Starting in early 2025, this position allows flexibility for the right candidate to start sooner if available.
Key Responsibilities : Assisting with ecological field surveys and site assessments Supporting data entry, report writing, and data analysis Learning and applying survey methodologies and species identification Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely project delivery Contributing to biodiversity and environmental management planning About You We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who has a keen interest in ecology and sustainability and a desire to develop hands-on experience in the field.
