Behaviour Teaching Assistant Location: Dorchester Salary: £12.82 - 14.72 per hour [Depending on experience] Start: Immediate Contract: Full-time / part-time GSL Education are seeking a dedicated  Behaviour Teaching Assistant  to join a vibrant school in  Dorchester .

The role as a  Behaviour Teaching Assistant  involves assisting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored strategies and promote pupil engagement.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA): Support students with behavioural difficulties in both one-to-one and group settings.
Implement behaviour management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of individual pupils.
Foster a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere that supports learning.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour to staff and parents/carers as needed.
Required Qualifications for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA): Previous experience working with children with behavioural challenges is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to addressing individual needs.
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
