About the role Polaris Britain LTD is a part of Polaris Inc. a global leader in powersports.
Polaris Britain supports brands such as the iconic Indian Motorcycle, as well as Polaris Ranger, RZR, Sportsman and General.
The successful candidate will be joining a small, dedicated team based in Coleshill.
Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor for Central Europe and supporting our network of dealers in warranty support, technical assistance, diagnosis and delivering technical training to the network both on site at the dealer location, and at our purpose-built classroom at UK head office.
You will also support sales and marketing led events for both the UK and EMEA businesses where technical support and expertise is required.
The role is predominantly office based, with the flexibility of working from home up to two days per week, and as such, the successful candidate will need to be within commutable distance of Coleshill, or be willing to relocate.
There are occasional needs to visit other EMEA subsidiaries and factories within Europe.
About you Are you a time served technician with a strong customer focus and a desire to take a step up?
Perhaps a true petrol head with excellent diagnostic capabilities and a thirst for more knowledge, training and being able to impart your knowledge to others?
You'll have a minimum of a level 3 in a suitable discipline (preferably level 4 or higher), with proven hands on experience.
You might come from a manufacturing background, or from a motorcycle or agricultural dealership.
You will be resilient and have a great sense of humour, with teamwork at your core and a can-do attitude.
If you have trained or mentored apprentices or junior colleagues in the workplace, we would be happy to hear from you, although if this is new to you, you would be joining an experienced team who can train you.
Some of the other core competencies we are looking for: Excellent organization, communication and administrative skills, PC applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry within order processing/distribution systems.
Ability to take instructions and work independently.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and stressful work environment.
Ability to resolve conflicts Expertise in vehicle electrics and vehicle diagnostics Interest in and knowledge of off-road vehicles and motorbikes Driving licence class B is necessary, class A desirable (not obligatory) Hands-On experience Language skills: Fluency in English is mandatory, basic knowledge of is German is beneficial but not mandatory.
