We are looking for a STEM Teaching Assistant to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most iconic and successful race teams in the world, Williams Racing.
The STEM Teaching Assistant will join the Williams STEM team to deliver industry-leading STEM experiences to youth visiting the Williams site in Oxfordshire.
The Williams STEM programme is an exciting new venture, aiming to teach children about STEM concepts and careers while building the next generation of Williams fans.
As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of the workshop segment of the STEM Programme, teaching the students through exciting projects how to apply STEM knowledge through the lens of F1.
You will also support other general event logistics throughout the day to ensure the STEM experience runs smoothly.
When not running the programme, you will help to develop and improve the STEM programme.
This role will play a key part in delivering the STEM Programme, enhancing the Williams F1 brand experience and reputation.
Main duties:
Support and/or lead the STEM Programme Facilitator in leading engaging and interactive STEM sessions.
Help prepare and organize materials and resources needed for STEM activities and lessons.
Provide additional support to students during sessions, ensuring they understand and engage with the material.
Assist with administrative duties such as analysing feedback data, knowledge checks, record-keeping, NPS/CSAT and communication with stakeholders and schools.
Assist in the development and enhancement of the STEM curriculum, incorporating feedback and new ideas.
Help organise and coordinate STEM-related events, workshops, and resources.
Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
Skills and experience required:
Bachelor's degree in education, STEM-related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
An interest in STEM education and a desire to inspire young minds.
Ability to adapt to changing programme needs and priorities.
Ability to pass DBS checks.
