Sound Engineer

Sound Engineer | Birmingham | Full-Time | £25k - £40k depending on experience Are you passionate about sound design and eager to bring immersive audio experiences to life in the gaming world?
Our client is a leading UK-based provider of gaming machines, dedicated to delivering new and exciting content for players nationwide.
Their innovative gaming products are enjoyed in pubs, clubs, and arcades across the country, offering a fun and entertaining gaming experience for all.
You will be a talented Sound Engineer, and in this role you will be crafting high-quality audio assets and integrating them seamlessly into slot games.
You will also need to sort and select third-party sounds when appropriate.

What will your role look like?
Design and implement sound effects, ambient sounds, and audio cues to enhance the gaming experience.
Understand when to create new samples and when to use pre-created assets.
Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure seamless audio integration.
Edit, mix, and master audio to meet quality standards and optimize for performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues with the development team.
Continuously innovate and improve in-game sound.
