As a solicitor at Mergul Law, you will be joining a bespoke, strong, fast-growing team.
The team has doubled in size over the last year and is expected to continue to expand.
Main duties and responsibilities: Manage own caseload of mixed property and housing-litigation work, which, currently, will predominantly be claimant housing-disrepair work.
Caseload may include service-charge disputes, possession matters, discrimination claims in housing and injunctions.
Caseload will include issuing disrepair claims and running them all the way to trial and then potentially enforcement.
Assist other case handlers with their caseloads.
Support and develop more junior members of the team.
Assist with business development and profile raising initiatives including networking events.
Achieve set targets/KPIs.
Ensure relevant deadlines, compliance and quality measures are adhered to.
Comply with Mergul Law client policies and procedures.
Work in accordance with Mergul Law's values.
