Software Project Lead Location: Filton, Bristol Onsite: 3-4 days per week Citizenship: British National The Opportunity: Europe's 1 Integrated Defence Company seeks an influential Software Project Lead to oversee an elite team of real-time software engineers in building next-gen embedded missile systems.
The Role: As project lead, you will be at the heart of collaboration, working side-by-side with cross-functional teams to push technical boundaries and achieve excellence at every step of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from big-picture strategy to flawless execution.
This role demands clear, impactful communication with stakeholders at every level and across borders, ensuring that everyone remains aligned and informed as progress unfolds.
Essential Requirements: Strong grasp of real-time embedded software tech - SysML/UML, C, C++, or Ada.
Proven experience in high-stakes, accuracy-driven environments.
Knowledge of key standards: DefStan 00-55, DO178B/C.
