HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? Play a key role in guiding and reinforcing the Group's Platforms, Digital & Privacy strategy. You will work closely with the wider Richemont Group, including the Luxury New Retail/e-commerce, Group Technology, Group Data, Group Security, Human Resources, marketing, digital and communications teams (both at Group and Maison level). Provide timely and results-oriented legal advice and support on a wide variety of matters across all lines of business to the Maison teams and Richemont in relation to: - platforms and online compliance;
- digital (including a wide range of digital contracts);
- technology (including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain);
Respond to ad hoc queries to include identification, analysis and evaluation of risks in order to provide appropriate legal solutions, including regulatory compliance. Draft, review, negotiate and comment on a wide variety of legal and commercial documents, including those specific to Platforms, Digital & Privacy. Draft, review, comment on, coordinate and contribute to Group Legal memos, guidelines, business rules, processes, training and presentations where needed in close collaboration with the Group, its Maisons, Functions and/or Regions. Assist with global data privacy-related topics, including those related to AI, blockchain, data protection impact assessments, transfer impact assessments and data subject requests. Get involved in, contribute to, project-manage legal operations related topics in line with the agenda set by the Group General Counsel and the Legal Executive Committee. Lead, motivate, guide a team of legal colleagues, provide feedback, and cultivate recognition. HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in providing technology and privacy-related legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters in a multinational environment; team management experience is a plus. Qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials. Legal experience will include: a strong focus on drafting, negotiating, reviewing and project managing a wide variety of digital and technology contracts and data processing agreements; advising on e-commerce, digital, technology, AI and privacy-related topics (for which in-depth knowledge of the GDPR and e-Privacy Directive is essential); a solid grasp of the principles of law, including foreign law-related. Experience in B&C industry and e-commerce is particularly appreciated. Key personal strengths include initiative and proactivity, responsiveness, maturity and gravitas, strong stakeholder management capabilities, outstanding oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and oral presentational skills, focus on detail and structure while preserving effectiveness, and keenness to learn and to share. Native or fluent in English; with French language being a plus. Digitally savvy, good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel) and shared work and project management environments (in particular SharePoint, Monday.com, any other Gantt tech solution).
