As they strive for unprecedented growth, they seek an ambitious Lead Data Scientist to join their dynamic team and help them scale their Data Science Personalisation/Pricing Forecasting Team!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize programming languages such as Python, SQL, and others to implement statistical/Forecasting methods effectively addressing specific business problems.
Develop robust Forecasting/Personalisation/Search/Recommendation/Pricing models and perform data-driven analyses to support strategic decision-making processes.
Innovate and enhance existing methodologies by creating new data sources, conducting rigorous testing, and fine-tuning of Forecasting & Personalisation/Search model parameters.
Play a pivotal role in designing and developing automated forecasting systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Build customer-facing reporting tools with intuitive interfaces, providing comprehensive insights and metrics to track forecast/Personalisation/ Search performance and elucidate variance.
Collaborate closely with researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define precise product requirements, offer analytical support, and provide valuable feedback.
Present critical data in a clear and concise format, facilitating a quick understanding of inputs and outputs of forecasting systems and contributing to the continual improvement of their performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Proficiency in Python, including its associated data and machine learning packages such as numpy, pandas, pyspark, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and more.
Experience working with object-oriented programming languages.
Experience in Forecasting/Pricing & AB testing.
Leadership Expertise in utilizing SQL for data acquisition and transformation.
Outstanding quantitative modeling and statistical analysis abilities.
SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary range: up to £80,000.
