SEN Learning Mentor Needed - Birmingham Location: Birmingham Start Date: 6th January 2025 Pay: £90 - £105 per day Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Are you dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs?
Teaching Personnel are seeking an SEN Learning Mentor to join a mainstream secondary school in Birmingham, working with learners in the specialist provision unit.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted support to students with SEN to enhance their learning experience.
Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Mentor students to boost their confidence and independence.
Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to teachers and parents.
Collaborate with staff to implement individualized learning plans.
Requirements: GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
A passion for helping students with special educational needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
A proactive and adaptable approach to diverse learning needs.
