Why we're hiring Who we're looking forOur ideal candidate:
Has 3+ years of experience succeeding in a B2B SaaS enterprise sales or something comparable - there will be complex deals and we need someone experienced in navigating this complexity, including managing and growing a team.Has 2+ years in a high growth startup - the one constant in a startup is change and this is something you need to have seen before.Loves to learn new things - Tracebit is a technical security product, you don't need either technical or security expertise to join us, but you do need to absorb and retain this knowledge quickly.Has excellent communication skills - you'll be representing Tracebit publicly as you interact with senior executives at large enterprises. Is able to spend 5 days a week at our office in Central London. Is excited to travel occasionally (e.g. to the US and Europe for conferences). About the roleWorking closely alongside our CEO, you'll grow to being the first quota carrier at a security startup that's been built for scale from day 1.
You'll be the engine for our revenue growth, learning how to take a product to market and scale to $millions in ARR by actually doing it.You'll navigate complex sales cycles with the world's leading mid-market and enterprise tech businesses (~250-5,000 employees), working across five and six figure deals. You'll build & manage our sales pipeline, close deals, and partner with our CEO on GTM strategy as we expand our ideal customer profile & find success in other sectors and geographies…hopefully, you'll manage a geography/sector/team in the next 12 months. You'll help to create our sales processes as you build them, experimenting with different messaging & outbound strategies. You'll become the best person in the company at explaining & pitching the product. You'll have close relationships across product, engineering, and customer success, giving feedback gathered from the front line/speaking to prospective customers, allowing you to help steer our roadmap & experience first-hand how great products & great businesses are built. FAQsIs there scope for this to be a remote role? Short answer: No, but flexible on a case by case basis. You can expect to travel as part of this role.
Long answer: We are a very early stage company and think that we'll build the best company we can at the fastest pace we can whilst also having a lot of fun by physically working together 5 days a week. Naturally, on a case by case basis (e.g. leaving early for a holiday, staying home for a builder) we're very reasonable and flexible!
What are the working hours like? We think 9am-6pm will bring a great cadence to work. To support sales in the US, there will definitely be times you need to pick up work outside of these hours, we're keen to offer flexibility in return.
