WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US The Sales Director for Data Solutions is a global specialist for Simcorp's Data offerings, with a main focus on our European market, but will also support the Americas and Asia Pacific.
This is a solution sales specialist role for Simcorp's Data Management offering, both offered as a Business Service or SaaS solution, as well as our Snowflake Datawarehouse solution and Custodian Connectivity Solution.
The role will work closely with our regional teams to ensure our GTM approach for data solutions is fully aligned globally, including market sizing, segmentation, and driving sales execution to grow the business.
This position has a sales target, working on deals where data solutions are part of a larger offer and also creating separate deals.
This role requires a combination of deep knowledge within data management and data solutions, combined with solid enterprise software sales skills.
What should interest you – The responsibilities: Provide market analysis, sizing, and segmentation to prioritize our commercial efforts on where we have the best opportunities to win within data solutions.Identify and qualify leads to drive pipeline volume, whilst progressing existing qualified pipeline to closure, in order to meet the global sales target.Generate a compelling business case for the client that drives urgency to act.
Compelling means delivery of real business benefits quantified in terms.Support the data solutions part in bundled sales opportunities in broader Simcorp One enterprise deals, and drive standalone data solutions deals.Oversee and orchestrate timely sales coverage on all opportunities, including replying to RFX's, customer or prospect meetings, demos, negotiations, etc.Remain attuned to market trends and competitor activity in order to assist SimCorp in maintaining a competitive advantage, so that we consistently win.Where necessary, represent SimCorp at marketing events and tradeshows.What we value - Your qualifications Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above.
How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important.
We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.
Advanced solution sales experience and knowledge within data solutions, especially data management outsourcing or SaaS.Expert solution and enterprise sales qualities, with experience from data management, market data, or similar organizations.Good understanding of Asset Management and Financial Services Industry, including enterprise system architecture, regulation, and industry trends.Relevant educational background within business economics or economics, law, engineering, computer science, or other relevant fields.Fluent in English is required; any other languages can be beneficial.Ability to travel.BENEFITS Attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement.
