Position Overview: Our Human Resources Department is seeking to hire a Recruiting & Human Resources Coordinator with at least 2 years of HR generalist experience to join our growing Rochester branch. This is an in-office, part-time position.

Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Partner including, but not limited to, applicant resume review and scheduling, administering recruiting assessments, and reference checks. Assist in the preparation, tracking, and management of employment offer letters. Assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure candidate information is up-to-date and accurate. Support recruitment events and job fairs as needed. Coordinates new hire start dates and onboarding times with hiring managers. Communicates information necessary for internal systems set-up for new hires. Processes MVR, schedules drug screens and DOT physicals for new drivers as needed. Assist with new hire onboarding, responsible for validating employment paperwork and compliance, entering new hire data in HRIS, and following up to finalize new hire paperwork.Ensures a smooth onboarding process. Assigns NYS-required harassment training for new hires. Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and adhere to privacy regulations. Participate in various related HR department projects and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements
Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of Human Resources/Recruiting experience is required, in a generalist or administrative role. A combination of education and related work experience will be considered. Experience with ATS & HRIS systems - Paylocity experience a plus. Experience with Recruiting platforms (Linkedin, Indeed, Facebook, Glassdoor, etc.) Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to a diverse audience. A high level of attention to detail, as demonstrated through complete and accurate work. Ability to work well with all levels of staff. Effectively prioritize responsibilities and meet assigned deadlines. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Ability to remain flexible and resourceful with a high level of professionalism. Experience with performing various and repetitive administrative tasks Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software programs. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Must have a high level of time management and organizational skills. Must be able to multitask and handle multiple issues/tasks concurrently with composure. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
