People and Capability Manager Publication Date 02 / 12 / 2024 Location Canterbury Type Permanent / Full Time Sector HR & Recruitment HR - Management Platinum Recruitment are partnering with this South Canterbury business as they look to hire and experienced HR Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager you will have the authority to make the role your own as you drive HR strategy, managing relationships with executive staff, managers and individual employees.
Responsible for the day-to-day management HR administrative, operational, and people related functions.
Responsibilities include: Be the face and voice of HR within the business Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and in line with best practice.
Revise existing policies and produce new policies as needed Support the daily administration of HR services (including: organisational design and change, leadership development, performance management, compensation, employee retention, team building, and employee relations + more) Strive to maintain a flexible and friendly work environment while meeting the needs of the business To be successful you will need:5+ years in a HR leadership role Experience working with all staff levels up to exec level.
Background in generalist HR functions Effective advisory skills to management and employees.
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy To be a reliable source of good ideas and HR solutions that strengthen the people and organisational aspects of the business.
