Our client, is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to become an integral part of the Capital Programme - Investment Delivery team in the Eastern region.
You will play a crucial role in delivering engineering activities and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver construction programmes for assets operating between LV to 132Kv • Collaborate with Programme and Project Managers to meet project timelines, budges, and quality standards • Work closely with Project Supervisors and EHV fitters on electrical engineering activities • Manage construction-related budgets and help achieve financial goals • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Manage construction-related budgets and help achieve financial goals • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Operate and maintain the Asset Database regarding project activities • Oversee contractors and staff on-site, ensuring adherence to safety management practices Qualifications: Essential: • Senior Authorised Person as defined by the Distribution Safety Rules (preferably 132kV) • HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Working knowledge of distribution HV Systems • Proficiency in reading schematic drawings Desirable: • Relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH • Knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills Additional Benefits: • Personal Pension Plan (4% or 5% personal contribution with a corresponding contribution from Company of 8% or 10%) • Tenancy Loan Deposit Scheme • Tax-efficient benefits: Cycle to Work Scheme • Season Ticket Loan • Occupational Health Support • "Switched On" scheme offering discounts on hundreds of retailers' products • Discounted access to sports and social clubs • Employee Assistance Programme If you are a Project Engineer looking for the next stage in your career please apply!
