Join us, we're an Investors in People Silver Standard CompanyWe have a brand-new role at Ground Control for a Construction Graduate Project Planner in our Landscaping team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling and execution of our landscape construction projects across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring all activities are planned effectively and meet deadlines.Collaborate with Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination of resources, materials, and labour.Upskilling of our operations teams on the need for accurate project planningMonitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement contingency plans to keep projects on track.Assist in budget forecasting, cost management, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project timelines, risks, and critical paths.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain up-to-date project documentation and reporting.This is a great opportunity for an innovative Construction Management or Project Management graduate with some experience of project planning.You will need;Some experience of using planning software such as Primavera P6, Aster, MS Project, or similar.Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and propose effective solutions.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.This is a hybrid role that can be mostly worked from home with occasional site and office visits as and when required depending on the needs of the business.What we offer:At Ground Control we believe in creating an inspirational environment , and rewarding our employees for their hard work.
