Programme Manager Permanent Full time £95,000 + Car allowance + Pension + Benefits Location : Derby (Hybrid) Reports To : Operations Director Role Summary : The Programme Manager will lead and support a regional programme focused on project scheduling, PMO, and business improvement.
The role spans strategic, tactical, and operational work, coordinating with teams in Solutions, Design, Construction, and SHEQ to drive performance, long-term planning, and continuous improvement for both the business and clients.
Key Responsibilities : Provide program-level reporting, insights, and analysis to drive regional performance improvements.
Ensure high-quality management information for the portfolio, supporting performance analysis alongside the national Power BI team.
Oversee project planning (Primavera P6) and manage resources, risks, and supply chain partnerships.
Coordinate business improvement plans covering both strategic and operational needs.
Manage performance with internal teams and external clients, including the Client PMO.
Lead regional marketing activities, including award submissions and social media.
Line management for the Programme Team, ensuring communication and training across all levels.
Essential Requirements : Proven experience in program/multi-project management, especially in large-scale infrastructure.
Degree in a construction-related discipline.
Strong communication skills and experience working closely with clients.
Ability to manage teams to deliver within time, budget, and quality targets.
Desirable Qualifications : Background in water/wastewater infrastructure, familiarity with Primavera or Power Project.
Chartered or near-chartered status in a construction field.
Knowledge of construction health and safety.
