Plant Fitter/Engineer £40k-£52k DOE Tonbridge Monday-Friday My client, a leading manufacturer in their field, are looking for a Plant Fitter to join their team.
You will be multiskilled in terms of both electrical and mechanical knowledge, able to weld using both MIG and Arc, and be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a relative engineering field.
As a Plant Fitter, you will be: Carrying out maintenance duties across the plant within the manufacturing facility.
Welding using MIG and Arc techniques.
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on all plant.
Mainly dealing with mechanical faults, but electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs will also be needed.
Logging all repairs completed.
Any other duties required.
The successful Plant Fitter will have / be: Educated to minimum level 3 in a relative field Must have mechanical experience, with electrical experience being highly beneficial.
Able to weld using MIG & Arc techniques.
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting carrying out repairs/maintenance on plant machinery.
Any electrical qualifications will be beneficial but not essential.
Physically fit in order to carry out all aspects of this role.
