Our People and Talent practice are looking for an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the team.
We are experts who put people first to build workplaces where people can thrive. We drive and enable business performance and productivity by accelerating people potential through culture, capability, and workforce transformation. This expertise is applied across clients in all our industry market sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceutical & Lifesciences, and Government).
What you will be doing
As a member of our team, you'll be doing a breadth of interesting work across our industries and our broader organisational design and agility, and transformation and change capabilities, delivering exciting projects that require culture, leadership, workforce optimisation, capability building, and HR transformation skillsets. Our consultants work with our clients, often in the context of large-scale, complex business transformations to:
Define and activate the cultural ambition, including objective assessment of the gap between the current and target culture, developing new leadership capabilities, infusing the culture across the organisational ecosystem, and making it real through people-led experiences.Unlock and accelerate people performance through the workforce infrastructure – defining and assessing future skills, building robust workforce plans, designing and developing routes for skills growth and optimisation (e.g., capability academies, career pathways, talent marketplace), and enabling people performance through the wider talent ecosystem.Transform the HR function as a strategic enabler to drive commercial outcomes and providing expertise in transitioning large numbers of people into new operating models.Your skills and experience You have demonstrable consulting experience supporting and delivering a selection of the following strategic People and Talent solutions, ideally across a range of market sectors:Culture transformationLeadership and behavioural changePeople strategy and workforce planningCapability and skills buildingPeople performance and talent managementHR transformationYou take personal ownership of your work and may have some experience in shaping client deliverables that have delivered clear impact and value.You effectively manage your time and seek to deliver work to a high quality, with good attention to detail.You have experience in communicating and engaging with a range of stakeholders/clients and can do so in a way that instils confidence.You proactively collaborate with your colleagues and clients to build trusted and effective relationships.You actively manage and grow your personal network to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.You have taken an active role in supporting business development opportunities that deliver client value and enable future commercial opportunities.You take ownership of your personal development and seek to support others to be their best, offering help and sharing learning as needed.What a career at Baringa will give you Putting People First.
