We're taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).4DWW will be rolled out within our school, when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year – so there's never been a more exciting time to join us #teamOFG!Job Title:        Deputy Headteacher - Quality of Education Location:        Red Kite School, Princes RisboroughSalary:            Up to £60,000 per annum dependent on experience Hours:            37.5 hours per week; Monday to FridayContract:        Permanent, Term Time only We are looking for an experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our brand-new team at Red Kite School located in Princes Risborough.About the roleTo provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.
To work with the Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.Key Task Areas and ResponsibilitiesTo comply with good safeguarding procedures and principles as detailed by the local safeguarding boardTo participate in the process of assessment of referralsTo act as overall curriculum coordinator and manager across the schoolTo act as the lead teacher for the positive support of behaviour that may challengeTo work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team which encompasses education, residential care and the clinical teamTo monitor progress and targets to ensure that each individual student can achieve planned outcomesEssential criteriaRelevant experience of teaching pupils and young people with Autistic spectrum condition and/or challenging behavioursRelevant experience of teaching pupils and young people with complex needsExperience of managing staffManaging budgets effectively and ensuring cost efficiencyDegree and QTSAbout our schoolRed Kite is a brand-new 60 place school for pupils with social and emotional health needs.
The school is based in the beautiful market town Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire.
