MEP Lead Required in Macclesfield, UK - CONTRACT ROLE The MEP Lead is responsible for delivering MEP systems on large or multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with safety, quality, and energy objectives.
This role involves leading and motivating MEP teams to deliver fully integrated, commissioned systems that meet design and statutory requirements for seamless handover and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Promote MEP management systems and provide technical support for project delivery.
Assist in the development of the Building Services Strategy Plan and align with company objectives.
Guide the MEP aspects of project bids, ensuring adherence to pre-construction procedures.
Oversee the planning and execution of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project plans.
Coordinate with utility companies to meet infrastructure and interface requirements.
Manage risk recognition and develop mitigation plans to address any issues.
Ensure quality control through QMS snagging, inspections, and sign-offs.
Lead the development of commissioning and handover plans with MEP contractors.
Qualifications: MEP-related qualification (Mechanical/Electrical).
Membership in a relevant professional institution (CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, etc.).
IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training.
Experience in planning, programming, project management, and live energies/arc flash training.
