As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your role will be: Daily signing off of all power presses including checking all guarding Check out regular maintenance of plant and equipment, including lubricating, adjusting and / or replacing consumable spare parts as necessary Maintaining and keeping stock levels of consumables at practical level Planned preventative maintenance and keeping a log of all uniquely identified plant equipment and tooling Ensure all objectives are carried out within a timely manner Investigate any plant or tooling problems Carry out repairs / modifications to plant and equipment Liaise with external maintenance services as required either by phone or email You will need: To be able to work on own initiative and be able to prioritise own work load withthe ability to be flexible with urgent jobs as well as general daily tasks.
To be able to work with minimal disruption to surrounding workforce and within relevant compliance standards Understanding and competence in relevant Health and Safety requirements, coupled with ability tomaintain records as required.
Metal fabrication / manufacturing experience desirable Experience of working in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment Welding experience MIG / TIG useful Excellent communication skills To be ideally competent in press inspections and ideally have abrasive wheels training however training can be provided Offered: 40 hour week, Monday to Friday with some overtime if required Free Parking £13.50 ph to £15.00 ph depending in experience 20 days holiday + bank holidays Pension Career Opportunity to work with a Market Leader in their industry TPBN1_UKTJ
