Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianCK Group are recruiting for 2x Maintenance Technicians to join a chemical company at their site based in Shildon on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a 4on-4off shift role.
The Company: Our client is a leading paint manufacturer.
Their Shildon site produces technical paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Location: This role is located at our client's site in Shildon.
Maintenance Technician Role: Your main duties will be: Carrying out preventative and reactive repairs in our client's manufacturing and distribution facility.Working on a variety of heavy, industrial and chemical manufacturing equipment.Assisting with installation and modification projects.Contributing to projects in manufacturing, including continuous improvement and safety projects.
Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have A level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineering.Strong maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environment.Expert knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Knowledge of electrical maintenance and calibration is very desirable.
