Maintenance Team Leader - MechanicalRivenhall, EssexIndaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe.
We deliver high-quality, cost-effective services in the municipal, industrial and specialist hazardous waste markets.
We currently offer Total Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.Currently, in Essex, Indaver is constructing the Rivenhall Facility, which will process circa 595,000t of residual waste per annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60,000 homes.
Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintain and operate this large scale process plant.
Maintenance Team Leader – Mechanical will be responsible for the execution of all front line mechanical maintenance activities across all of the process, building and site systems which comprise the Rivenhall facility.
As such, they will coordinate and plan all mechanical activities in accordance with the operational requirements in order to drive compliance and ensure high levels of operational availability.This position will also be responsible for the management of a small team of maintenance technicians, ensuring ongoing development and training needs are met.

Come join us!RoleAll works are executed in accordance with Indaver's Safe System of Work and the protection of people, plant and the environment are at the core of every activityProvide visible leadership in all activities and ensure that all personnel carrying out maintenance activities within the facility are appropriately trained and competent to operate with the Indaver's Integrated Safe System of WorkMaintenance of the facility using best Indaver/Industry practices in compliance with all relevant environmental, legal, license and internal normsProactive delivery of maintenance services to the facilityCoordination and execution of all preventive and predictive maintenance activities across the facilityIdentification of operational improvement projects that simplify, standardise or improve the operability, maintainability and/or compliance of the facilityAttention to details and doing things right, first time, every timeAlways be on the look out for alternative methods of working that make it improves safety, quality and/or efficiency.Be aware the impact of maintenance activities and the way they are executed impact the operational budget for the facilityExperience requiredHNC/HND or with significant experience gained in a maintenance, construction and/or engineering services environmentLower qualifications will be considered when supported by significant directly applicable experience.Proven maintenance experience within a complex operational environment (Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Industrial Process)Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, 2 of which should have incorporated leading small workgroups.Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be providedKnowledge and experience of complex integrated plant and equipment commonly found within continuous process industries such as, power generation, cement industry and petrochemicals.
