About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Paignton .
As a key member of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, you will help create an engaging, safe, and nurturing environment for our youngest learners.
You will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education and development, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities of a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant: Provide individual and group support to children, helping them to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Assist with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
Support children with a range of abilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging children to explore, investigate, and develop their independence.
Monitor and record children's progress and share observations with the teacher.
Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment, adhering to health and safety and safeguarding policies.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the well-being and development of each child.
What We Are Looking For: Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYFS) qualification, or equivalent. Experience working with young children in an early years or school setting.
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS stage and development milestones.
A passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The ability to support and nurture children with a variety of needs, including those with additional learning needs.
A proactive, flexible, and patient approach to working with young children.
A commitment to promoting the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
