Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Prepare students for their transition to secondary education, ensuring they meet end-of-year expectations.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and a love for learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the Year 6 curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attainment.
Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree.
Proven experience teaching at the primary level, ideally with Year 6.
Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
