Legal Counsel

Our client, an international specialty insurance firm, has a new opening for Legal Counsel. You will work closely with the International MGUs (Managing General Underwriters) and provide legal support on a wide range of delegated authority matters.
You will also support the International MGU's with successful expansion in new countries and advise on contract terms and regulatory requirements for a wide range of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, terms of business with insurance brokers, NDAs).
The successful applicant will be a qualified Lawyer/Solicitor with prior experience as a Lawyer gained from a law firm and/or in-house experience in a business active in the insurance industry.
You will also ideally have relevant experience handling delegated authority work - international experience (Middle East, APAC, preferred) would be advantageous. Previous experience advising, drafting, and negotiating in common law and civil law jurisdictions would also be useful.
