Saviynt is searching for a new lawyer to join the team.
Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.
This is a newly created role due to the exceptional growth in the business.
With growing complexity within the business, including further development and expansion across the US, EMEA, and APAC, and our client list growing day by day, this has borne the need for additional in-house legal resource to assist on all matters.
You will be part of a global legal team that is principally responsible for supporting our commercial sales division, assisting in closing high-value transactional matters, alongside supporting all other aspects of the business on general legal matters.
Key responsibilities and capabilities: Provide advisory and transactional support (in conjunction with key stakeholders from the business) for a wide variety of commercial law matters, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements related to the sale of Saviynt's technology products and the licensing of Saviynt's proprietary cloud-based software.
Support and advise on non-disclosure agreements, statements of work for delivery of professional services, as well as advising on matters concerning data protection (GDPR), intellectual property, and advising on IT outsourcing and other vendor/procurement contracts.
Function independently, take a confident, flexible approach with a growth mindset, and be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to turn around numerous tasks in a short period of time.
What you will be doing: Strong commercial contract drafting skills.
Experience of closely working with a sales team and helping drive forward to close deals.
Experience of drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial, technology, intellectual property, and vendor agreements in a dynamic international environment and have an ability to relate to different business perspectives and approaches to issues arising.
Experience of working on projects with a variety of other professionals.
Good organisational and project management skills.
Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
A practical approach to problem-solving.
An understanding of how to manage external counsel, including agreeing fee estimates and scope of assignments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good commercial sense.
What experience and skills we are looking for: Qualified solicitor admitted in England and Wales.
Minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial contracts.
Experience of working with an in-house environment or top-tier law firm.
Experience in the technology sector will be a plus.
Language skills would be a plus.
Based in London and/or ability to travel into the London office frequently.
Experience with corporate governance and record-keeping, including maintaining corporate documents, managing filings, and overseeing governance practices.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a variety of legal matters simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Experience working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Ability to think strategically and provide sound legal advice in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives.
Hands-on experience with contract management systems and legal technology solutions.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Comfortable in a rapidly growing private company setting.
£130,000 - £150,000 a year.
We offer you a competitive total rewards package, learning and tremendous opportunities to grow and advance in your career.
Final compensation decisions are dependent on many factors including, but are not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other relevant business and organizational needs.
You may also be eligible to participate in a Saviynt discretionary bonus plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
