One of the world's leading financial trading platforms, listed on the London Stock Exchange, is seeking to hire a solicitor into its impressive global legal team.

As part of an international legal team stretching across London, Europe and APAC, this role will have responsibility for various trading documentation, general commercial contracts, financing agreements and other ad-hoc legal duties.
Primarily the role will support the business' trading platform with a specific provision of capital markets, including drafting and negotiating a variety of trade and share related contracts such as capital raising documentation and prime brokerage documents (including ISDAs).
The role will also advise on general commercial contracts, including providing assistance in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including: IT and technology agreements, general marketing contracts, outsourcing agreements, and financing agreements (e.g.
facility agreements).
However, where work flows vary, the role will also advise on contentious matters and any other disputes pertaining to the business.
Candidate Requirements: Qualified as a solicitor, with at least 2 years' PQE from a recognised law firm and / or have in house experience.
If applying directly from a law firm, secondment experience from a regulated financial services organisation would be highly advantageous.
A strong team player, working as part of the wider legal team, but also having the personality required to manage internal colleagues and provide advice to different stakeholders.
