Legal Contract Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Contract Manager with a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in offshore wind projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple contract packages and will play a crucial role in our legal team, ensuring the successful execution and management of our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities: Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts related to offshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage and coordinate multiple contract packages, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and project timelines are adhered to.
Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, as well as external stakeholders such as contractors, suppliers, and legal advisors.
Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to offshore wind projects.
Handle any contractual disputes that arise, working towards amicable resolutions while safeguarding the company's interests.
Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and provide regular reports to senior management on contract status and issues.
Experience and Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal contract management, with a focus on renewable energy projects, specifically offshore wind.
Extensive experience managing multiple contract packages simultaneously.
Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, and regulatory requirements in the renewable energy sector.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
