We are working with a Further Education College based in Gateshead to recruit a Learning and Development Partner, with a salary of £36,692 - £40,087.
As Learning and Development Partner, you will design, deliver and co-ordinate the provision of quality learning and engagement interventions for staff at all levels within the business.
You will work in partnership with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to deliver on their People Strategy themes and ensure that learning, development and engagement priorities support making them the place where people want to work, feel valued, and share a passion to help people succeed.

Working with the Head of People, you will develop meaningful engagement opportunities for their staff considering the diversity of their workforce; equip managers with the skills to engage with their staff and encourage staff to contribute creative ideas.
You will work alongside their Curriculum and Quality staff, who provide specialist Teacher Academy and peer development for curriculum staff to ensure consistent and efficient provision for professional services and curriculum roles.

What we are looking for: Recent experience working in a role that required assessing learning needs and designing and developing interventions and training sessions.
Experience in evaluating the impact of learning and development or engagement initiatives, using the information to drive continuous improvement.
Experience in coordinating a range of activities and events demonstrating good organisational skills and time management.
Great digital skills and the ability to use a range of applications and tools to facilitate learning, collate feedback, produce reports and organise work.
Able to build rapport quickly and collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external partners.
Evidence of recent and ongoing continuous professional development and creating professional networks.
Desirable qualifications & training required: Experience in designing and/or delivering leadership development.
Experience working with a learning management system.
CIPD level 7 qualification.
Relevant learning and development professional qualifications.
Significant experience or qualification in coaching and mentoring.
