Lead key organisational initiatives, such as employee well being, and manage the people impact of business changes.
Requirements: A minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management and CIPD Associate membership.
Evidence of continuous professional development The Day-to-Day In this role, you will: Handle complex employee relations cases, including dismissals, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of all casework.
Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and case law, escalating cases for professional advice when necessary.
Act as the investigating officer for disciplinary and grievance matters.
Coach and mentor managers, delivering training to boost confidence and skills in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Build strong relationships with trade unions and support managers in consulting effectively with employee representatives.
Prepare business documents such as reports, job descriptions, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Assist in preparing documentation for formal hearings, appeals, and tribunals.
Contribute to the delivery of the People Strategy by leading HR projects like wellbeing, employee engagement, recruitment, and job evaluation.
Support organizational change projects, including TUPE transfers, restructures, and redundancies, in collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner.
Help develop and update HR policies and procedures.
Utilise ICT and document management systems to streamline HR processes.
Analyse HR metrics to drive informed decision-making and interventions.
Represent the HR Business Partner at meetings when required.
Proactively pursue continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practices.
Work flexibly across the service, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Safeguard the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults by reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
