This role is initially based at our site in Wallingford, along with global business travel!
Key Responsibilities Include: Define and execute a strategic direction for your category that aligns with our overall goals.
Lead the sourcing process to ensure we achieve optimal outcomes through comprehensive analysis and supplier engagement.
Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to encourage collaboration and innovation.
Monitor market dynamics to effectively manage risks Collaborate across divisions to implement best practices and enhance our procurement community.
Qualifications Who Are You?
You bring extensive experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG, and have a strong background in strategic sourcing within food ingredients or chemical markets.
You're a skilled communicator who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders and suppliers alike.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, ready to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
With your analytical mindset and attention to detail, you have a keen understanding of commercial acumen.
Well-travelled and culturally aware, you are comfortable navigating global business environments and building relationships across borders.
Whether negotiating in the boardroom or solving challenges out in the field, you bring a widened perspective and a results-driven approach to everything you do.
