Job Summary: An Immigration Solicitor will be responsible for handling a broad spectrum of immigration matters, including individual and corporate applications for visas, appeals, and complex immigration matters.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of UK immigration laws, strong attention to detail, and excellent client management skills.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee a full range of immigration case files from initial consultation through to conclusion, ensuring timely and accurate submission of applications.
Prepare and file all types of immigration applications, including but not limited to: Visa Applications: Work, student, spouse, and visitor visas.
Settlement Applications: Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), settlement for family members.
Citizenship and Nationality Applications: Naturalisation, registration of children.
Sponsor Licence Applications: Applications for organisations seeking to sponsor skilled workers.
Asylum and Humanitarian Protection: Draft statements and prepare asylum claims, appeals, and judicial reviews.
Appeals and Complex Cases: Represent clients in tribunal hearings, judicial reviews, and appeal proceedings.
EU Settlement Scheme Applications and related applications following Brexit.
Advise clients on legal immigration options, strategies, and potential outcomes based on UK immigration law.
Conduct thorough case research and legal analysis, identifying and mitigating risks and obstacles.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and promptly addressing queries.
Draft, review, and submit detailed supporting documentation, including witness statements, affidavits, and applications.
Liaise with Home Office, tribunals, legal counsel, and other external parties to facilitate case progression.
Ensure that all files comply with immigration law, regulations, and firm policies, keeping abreast of any legal changes impacting immigration processes.
Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years of PQE in immigration law.
Extensive knowledge of UK immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
Proven experience in case management, including high-volume caseloads.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care.
Proficiency in immigration case management software and legal document management systems.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
