Themis Recruit are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing solicitor to join one of Londons leading claimant firms.
Our client is dedicated to providing expert legal support and ensuring their clients receive the justice they deserve.
Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced housing solicitor to join their dynamic team in London.
The idea l candidate will have a strong background in housing law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of disrepair claims.
You will work closely with clients to assess their situations gather evidence and represent them in legal proceedings.
Key Requirements: Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding housing disrepair claims.
Assess and investigate client cases including gathering evidence and documentation.
Draft and issue letters of claim preaction protocols and court documents.
Represent clients in negotiations and court hearings.
Liaise with other professionals such as surveyors and housing officers to build strong cases.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of housing law and relevant case law.
Support junior solicitors and paralegals in their development and casework.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements Qualified solicitor ideally with a minimum of 3 years of experience in housing law specifically in disrepair claims.
We are happy to consider both claimant and defendant lawyers.
Strong and confident litigator.
Strong understanding of the relevant legislation and case law.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
Experience in representing clients in court is desirable.
Commitment to client care and achieving positive outcomes.
