Health and Safety Risk Assessor & PUWER Assessor Location: Silverstone Contract Type: Contract (2-3 months) Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Risk Assessor with specific expertise in PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) assessments for a short-term contract at Silverstone.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments, writing safe systems of work, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various operational areas.
Perform PUWER assessments to evaluate the safety of work equipment.
Develop and document safe systems of work in line with best practices.
Provide expert advice on health and safety matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement risk control measures and improve overall workplace safety.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal standards.
Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) to demonstrate competence in writing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and PUWER assessments.
Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a high-risk environment.
Familiarity with the automotive or motorsport industry.
