This award-winning, established, integrated communications agency based in central London seeks an exceptional HR generalist with strong operational and strategic experience to join them as their Head of People.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the people function, playing a pivotal role in driving cultural initiatives, leading ad hoc projects and strategically partnering with senior managers in ensuring a high performing and inclusive culture and a first class people experience.
Based in the office three days per week with two days able to be worked remotely.
Reporting directly into the CEO, and line managing a small team, your role will include Setting, communicating and delivering the People strategy and adapting it in line with business demands Driving HR initiatives and change programmes Coaching, supporting, mentoring and challenging senior leaders and line managers in the application of HR Policies and practices, including performance management, organisational design, RDI and training and development Providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk to the business Effectively measuring HR activity, presenting relevant data and analysis to the senior Leadership team to support recommendations in approach Developing a learning and development strategy and training programme which develops top talent, drives performance, aids succession and increases retention.
Leading the annual performance review cycles You will need Previous HR experience at a strategic, senior level ideally gained within an agency environment Experience of developing and leading successful people management initiatives, including restructuring and change Experience of identifying and developing training and development plans and managing appraisal cycles A thorough understanding of HR procedures & up to date employment legislation as well as experience of managing complex ER issues Experience of managing pay review cycles and advising on fair pay principles Superb communication skills, experience of working with senior leadership teams and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of TUPE and M&A advantageous Great attention to detail The agency is hoping to hold interviews as soon as possible so please apply immediately if this sounds like you!
