Global Recruitment Director & People Partner Hybrid – London Office 2 days per week Job Overview As the Recruitment Director and People Partner, you will play a dual role that combines strategic recruitment leadership with a collaborative people partnering approach. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, executing and overseeing our talent acquisition strategy while partnering closely with leaders and managers to support people-related functions and improve employee experience. This is a highly visible role that requires an exceptional communicator, a strong advocate for culture and a strategic thinker who can scale recruitment processes and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Leadership Develop and Execute Talent Acquisition Strategy: Design and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with the organization's goals, ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates, along with identifying and building strategic global hubs.Oversee Full Recruitment Cycle: Lead and enhance all aspects of recruitment processes, from sourcing and interviewing to selection and onboarding, focusing on both candidate experience and operational efficiency.Line management development: lead the development of hiring managers to deliver a consistent high-quality experience across the business.Employer Branding: Build and promote a strong employer brand through social media, recruitment campaigns and external partnerships to attract top talent.Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI): Drive EDI initiatives within the recruitment process to attract a diverse talent pool and foster a culture of inclusion.Data-Driven Recruitment: Establish metrics to assess recruitment effectiveness, track KPIs, and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement in hiring practices.Manage the ATS (TeamTailor), identifying improvements to functionality and ensuring consistent utilization.People Partner HR Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on all people-related matters, from performance management and employee relations to talent development and engagement.Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, conflicts and issues proactively, ensuring alignment with company policies and fostering a positive work environment. Track cases to identify trends to enable business wide solutions.Performance: Support and challenge line managers to critically assess their people, ensuring that high performance is recognized and underperformance is addressed.Talent Development and Retention: Collaborate with the People Experience Director and Team Leaders to identify skill gaps, promote professional development and drive initiatives that support employee retention and growth.Organizational Culture and Engagement: Support and enhance the company culture through people initiatives, internal communication, and employee engagement programs that align with company values.Change Management: Assist in leading and implementing organizational changes, ensuring that employees are well-informed and supported through transitions.People Policy Development: Own the development, consultation and implementation of a suite of global people policies that reflect best practices and enhance the employee experience.It is essential for the Employee Experience Partner to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Proven track record in building and scaling recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment (ideally having worked within the technology or the telco sector).Service focused with the drive to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.Analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to guide decisions.Developed and managed a recruitment budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet the recruitment needs of the organization.In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (ideally within one or more of the UK, USA and Republic of Ireland).Adaptable and Resilient: Able to thrive in a dynamic, growing organization with evolving needs.Strategic and Tactical: Able to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach when needed.People-Centric: Passionate about people development and creating a positive work environment.Inclusive: Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in both recruitment and all aspects of the employee lifecycle.CIPD qualification (ideally level 7 or level 5 with equivalent experience)
