Global Director of Compensation & Benefits Belmond is seeking an experienced Global Director of Compensation & Benefits to lead and shape our total rewards strategy, focusing on attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent. In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, aligning our compensation, benefits, and rewards programs with Belmond's goals and ensuring consistency and compliance across our global operations. You'll be instrumental in developing equitable and competitive compensation structures, integrating innovative HR Information Systems (HRIS), and optimizing our rewards environment internationally.

Responsibilities: Strategy Development & Implementation: Design and implement a global compensation and benefits strategy, including pay scales, benefits, pensions, and incentive plans that align with Belmond's long-term goals. Reward Structures & Benchmarking: Establish and maintain fair, competitive, and compliant global compensation structures through regular benchmarking and job evaluations. Salary Reviews & Proposals: Lead annual salary reviews for global teams, prepare compensation packages for new hires and promotions, and support negotiations. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate compensation-related risks, ensuring adherence to global legal standards and audit requirements. Global Mobility & Expatriate Management: Oversee programs that support international mobility, including expatriate compensation structures. Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with global HR and regional teams to implement local reward programs that reflect market best practices and Belmond values. Project Management: Drive HR and compensation projects, such as restructures, system upgrades, and global reward strategies. HRIS Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development of a global HRIS strategy to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience, ensuring it integrates with compensation and benefits processes. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Evolve HRIS tools to meet emerging needs in HR technology, supporting automation, efficiency, and user experience enhancements. Requirements: What You Bring: Proven experience at a Director level in HR with a strong focus on compensation and benefits in a global organization. Experience leading global HR projects, negotiating international benefits. Skilled in benchmarking, designing pay scales, and implementing HRIS/Human Capital systems. Skills & Knowledge: Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed data and financial analysis. Proficient understanding of global compliance requirements and regulatory systems. High level of organizational skill, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with HRIS platforms. Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills across diverse and international teams.
