Global Benefits Specialist - Major Hedge Fund – Large £ Comp Package - Wfh Flexibility

Details of the offer

A market leading, multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, going through a huge period of expansion, are looking to make a newly created 'Global Benefits Specialist' hire into its London office.
This is a newly created role, reporting into a Global Head.
The hire will take on a key role in the development of a rapidly growing rewards function, stepping in as one of the first hires focusing on benefits.
The hire will work to support the Global Head in the development and roll out of strategic initiatives for benefits on a global firmwide scale (individually taking ownership for the UK component initially).
As part of a lean and growing team the hire will take ownership of managing relationships with benefits vendors and using internal HRIS reporting systems to make data driven decisions for the best new benefits packages for the firm to adopt as they continue to grow exponentially in terms of headcount and geographical presence.
The hire be supported by HR generalists in the management of BAU processes such as year-end reviews, compliance and enrolment management - the hiring manager is keen to stress that this is not in any way an administration role.
Ad Hoc + project focused work also forms a key component of the role as you will be expected to regularly track emerging trends in the hedge fund industry, actively assessing the competitive and regulatory landscapes and articulating potential impact.
You would also work to identify and propose improvements to existing benefits processes, tools and programs to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
Candidates should ideally have 2-5years of relevant experience working directly in 'benefits', or in a HR generalist role that includes benefits as part of his/her remit.
Whilst FS experience is preferred, we are open to industry.
Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong academic background.
This is a business-critical hire so my client is committed to offering the successful candidate a very attractive increase on his/her current base salary and a bonus that can make up a very large % of base if the hire performs to a high standard, a strong proportion of which can be guaranteed as minimum for year one (as a hedge fund specialist recruitment firm, we can confidently suggest that this particular client pay some of the largest comp packages to support staff in the industry).
It is also important to highlight that the hire will be paid a sign-on bonus to more than make up for any loss of earnings moving at this time of year.
A top pension and healthcare package is also included.
The firm offers employees the opportunity to operate on a hybrid work week with 2 days wfh + the ability to work remotely during August.
