We're hiring a Finance Administrator Apprentice a unique chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
You'll join a friendly team that values accuracy and teamwork, helping process invoices, assist with payments, and manage queries.
Our successful candidate will contribute to the success of Leigh Academies Trust by supporting the effective financial management of the Central Trust budget and to support finance teams in our academies.
Applicants should be professional , personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of Leigh Academies Trust and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude .
Applicants should also be confident in many aspects of IT, and will be expected to utilise the Google Suite of tools for many aspects of their work.
This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.

Apprenticeship Summary: Annual wage: £13,725 per annum Holiday allowance: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays Working week: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am 4.00pm / Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm Total hours per week: 37 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship) Apprenticeship duration: Approx.18 months Anticipated start date: As soon as possible Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3) Apprenticeship standard: Business & Administration Positions: 1 available Desired entry qualifications: GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and ICT Future prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider business and administration remit.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff.
