As a member of the Underwriting team, you will be trained to operate within agreed underwriting authority and will take personal ownership of handling cases.
You will work as part of a team delivery high quality service to intermediaries.
You will be responsible for Liaising with valuers, solicitors and intermediaries as appropriate Ensuring all client files are always complete and up to date Ensuring that all business complies with the company's lending criteria Reporting any concerns over underwriting issues to the Senior Underwriter Coordinating the submission and return of application documentation to brokers Completing all reasonable comparable research on properties Carrying out administrative duties as required Underwriters will need as a minimum Analytical and methodical thinking Decision making skills Desire and hunger to learn and progress Previous experience of underwriting in a bridging environment Person Specific Excellent communicator, both written and verbal Go the extra mile to get the job done Self-motivated to deliver high quality service Salary - Maximum £40,000 depending on experience This is an office based role in Gravesend in Kent
