Family Liaison Officer - Term Time

Family Liaison Officer Halfway Houses Primary School are looking for a highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Family Liaison Officer to complement their wonderful team. This position is for 37 hours per week, 40 weeks of the year (term-time only plus 2 weeks). This position is offered on KR5 currently £24040-£25002 (pro rata).
We are looking for an individual who can engage with parents/carers and families to provide early intervention, support and guidance to increase engagement with the school and improve learning outcomes for pupils. Experience in the role of a Family Liaison Officer or similar role is desirable. Please see the attached job description for further details of this role.
You will need to be energetic, robust, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour. Excellent communication skills, the ability to analyse information, develop strategies, and follow tasks through to conclusion are essential. Our successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining attendance records using the Management Information System (MIS) and working with families to drive and support attendance within the school. Good IT skills are necessary, and support, training, and development will be provided.
