Package: Up to £46,000 pa. (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.

Let us introduce the role: Working within the Environment, Safety, Health function as a full time Accident / Incident Investigator supporting continuous improvement through the effective management, coordination, measurement, and analysis of accident / incidents occurring on AWE Sites.
Support the maintenance of the AWE Incident Investigation Management processes, procedures, and their effective implementation across AWE.
Support the reporting, data analysis and training requirements for the AWE Incident Investigation Management process.
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, and be a great team player.
Deliver Incident Investigations across all areas of the AWE business in line with the AWE Incident Investigation Management process.
Support effective delivery of governance, monitoring analysis and reporting of AWE Incident Investigation Management performance across the business.

Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Formal Environment, Safety, Health, Quality, Security, and Investigation training (alternative relevant qualifications / experience will be considered).
Strong analytical, coaching and interview skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
Competence in writing and presenting management reports.
Ability to scrutinise, analyse and interpret large volumes of data using a variety of tools and techniques.
Experience in Investigation, and Inspection Processes.
Important things you need to know: You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
This will be funded by AWE.
The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
