Estimator £50,000 - £53,000 + Car Allowance Birmingham (Home based with travel) Winner Recruitment are currently working with a forward-thinking service provider who are looking to recruit for a Estimator to oversee pricing of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of mechanical and electrical assets across a mixture of commercial and retail properties within the Midlands and surrounding areas.

If you're experienced in pricing maintenance work across Mechanical and Electrical assets such as generators, lighting, split AC systems, Chillers, Chilled water pumps, pressurization systems, humidifiers, de-humidifiers & controls equipment, as well as heating, plant rooms, emergency lighting and fire alarms then this is the perfect opportunity.
Responsibilities: As an Estimator you will travel across different sites providing detailed estimates for facilities management services, including M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), general building maintenance As an estimator you will do site visits and must identify all assets on site putting together quotations and speaking to the client to find out relevant information to help with the tender You will review project specifications, tender documents, and site conditions to assess the scope of work As a Estimator you will analyse drawings, technical documents, and site surveys to quantify required material, labour and subcontract services You will collaboate with project managers, facilities managers and other the FM teams to gather relevant information for relevant information for pricing information As a estimator you will identify opportunities for potential cost-saving and propose alternative solutions You will prepare and submit relevant documents such as tender documents, pricing schedules, proposals and supporting documentation Candidate: As an estimator you must hold relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering You must have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building services and SFG20 regulations You must have the ability to use estimation software and Microsoft office applications Ability to read and interpret documentation and technical drawings, and specifications Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills As an estimator you must have strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines TPBN1_UKTJ
