Our client's Education department is ranked Tier 1 in the Legal 500.
The Opportunity Due to growth, the firm is looking to welcome an experienced Education Solicitor to the team, to specialise in representing academies and/or maintained schools (AMS).
The successful Education Solicitor will form part of the firm's specialist Regulatory Compliance team, that works directly with a range of schools, universities, colleges and charities.
With broad expertise in contentious and non-contentious work, you'll be experienced in advising MATS and SATs and local authorities on education law issues.
The firm's typical caseload includes: Complaints against AMS clients Equality Act discrimination claims Student discipline hearings Serious incident reporting Admission appeals Educational negligence claims Critical incident management Requirements Experience in education law (respondent) gained from a similarly ranked education specialist department/firm Strong regulatory compliance experience At least 3 years' PQE Benefits The firm has a great culture.
