The opportunity We advise a broad portfolio of clients throughout the transaction lifecycle across a range of industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with backgrounds in Operations and IT, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we identify ideas and sources of value creation and design and deliver execution plans to realise benefits.
Your key responsibilities As Director within our TSE team, you'd drive aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations to potential clients to help sell work, own meaningful client relationships, and lead project delivery working with senior client stakeholders within tight timeframes for some of EY's most demanding clients. As a consultant, you'll advise clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for value creation.
You would also be expected to contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
Skills & attributes for success Industry and functional experience: engineering, supply chain or graduate scheme experience at a large corporateTrack record of commercial success across account and client managementConsulting experience: be familiar working in a large-scale consulting environment or industry role where you can demonstrate the ability to perform and summarise analysis into management insights and recommended actions at pacePotential experience in a transformation or other client stakeholder management roleFlexibility: be flexible to support on broader Operational and IT workRole model: act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilitiesTo qualify for the role you must have Specialism in:
Professional services, consulting or transactions (ideally Operational or IT due diligence) experience, or a deep understanding of one or more core operational functionsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to link operational analysis to financial statements, and understand the implications of findings to client strategyDemonstrable track record of delivering meaningful benefits for clients in value creation and into underperforming scenariosIdeally, you'll also have Opportunity origination track record and recognisable sector capabilitiesExperience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makersExperience in supporting sales and business development processes for professional services projects in a large-scale consulting environmentA track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendorsStrong written and verbal communication skills and experience of producing and reviewing high-quality reports, papers, presentations and thought leadershipWhat we are looking for We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful value creation team.
