Job DescriptionThe role requires the successful candidate to become part of a small team responsible for the design, development, defect correction, validation and release of OTX applications in Bosch's authoring environment GRADE-X.
Implementing automotive pinpoint and workshop manual diagnostics, according to OEM specifications of components and electronic control units (ECUs).The role involves dealing directly with the customer and working closely with other members of the development team which includes employees of Bosch, other suppliers and representatives of the customer.Whilst the skills defined in the Qualification section below are desirable, a positive attitude to learn new skills and a genuine interest in the subject are equally as important.Design and development of vehicle diagnostic strategies.
In accordance with designs agreed with the customer.In-depth understanding of General OEM requirements for a diagnostic system such as vehicle electrical system diagnosis.Understanding of vehicle electrical wiring diagramsElectrical fault finding and diagnosisECU input / output controlA knowledge of a wide range of power train and body chassis systems fitted to modern motor vehicles.
This extends to the components and theory of operation.
